Well I guess every 2 weeks is about all I can muster
for writing in here. Alot has happened the past 2 weeks.
Sean turned 13 and we made his day with a Red Sox
windbreaker pullover we found while away for the
weekend in Old Forge. He was absolutely gaga over it.
He takes after his dear old mom doesn't matter how
much crap we get for being fans we are loud and proud.
Ian had his final hurrah last Tuesday for his track
senior night. He had his senior banquet and class
blast Friday night and won a 13inch color t.v. in a
raffle drawing and he won a Babe Ruth Watch. His
brother was so totally jealous of the watch and Ian
had fun torturing him for a few days before making
him smile by giving it to him. Graduation is the 29th
and I am not ready at all for it. Ian says he doesn't
want a party that he will just go to everybody elses
but we at least have to have the family and close
friends that have been a part of his life all along over
for some type of party.
My baby turns 12 tomorrow. We did her cake and
took her out for chinese, her favorite food, tonight
because tomorrow is back to school and sports and other
activities. She will get to have her sleep over for her bday
this next weekend. I am seriously thinking of taking up
drinking again for a little while just so I can get through
the sleep over of 6 12 year olds. I guess this is the point
where they get older and we don't.
My brother was in town to visit and it was so nice to
see him. It has been about 3 years since last he was
home. I cooked a vegan meal for him for dinner and
it was actually good. I will probably make it again.
He has finally figured out a diet that makes him feel
better and he looks great. Who knows with the way
I have been feeling lately maybe I will try the vegan
thing.
Today was my 18th wedding anniversary. It is amazing
that it has been 18 years. My sweetie gave me a new
headlamp flash light because the kids had broken my
other one and said because you light up my life I got
you this for our anniversary. He can be so sweet.
My anniversary present to myself was a horseback ride.
It was heavenly. I then worked all the other Horses on the
long line except the older girl and they all were very good for
me. I think they knew it was my anniversary so they gave
me a present the only way they knew how.
I realized I didn't mention Sara at all. She is gearing up for
her summer mode of being off and about all summer. I am not
going to survive I think. She is down at the park with a friend
learning the guitar and I have to go pick her up. This is after being
gone most the day at the "gully" with her sister and some friends.
Here is to more of this great warm weather and energy to do the
things I want to do this summer.
